I wrote this a few years back and dedicated it to the families of Newtown, CT and the Sandy Hook tragedy. Because of spending quite a lot of time in Newtown with my best friend from college who was raised there, I was asked to kick off Newtown's summer concert series that emerged after the tragedy to keep up the spirits of the town. Observing how the world has given support to Newtown and how the community has risen to support each other, they are an inspiration. I perform in the series every year and am so glad to get to visit Newtown to connect with families musically.

I hope you enjoy the string trio featured on this track, led by violinist Jess Fox.
